Melissa Hie is the “girl” in Girl Eat World, a travel blog and Instagram account that documents the delicious treats she eats while on the go. Hie started traveling in 2009 when she moved by herself to Singapore; in 2010, after a short trip to Thailand, Hie knew that she was hooked, and has been traveling ever since.
All of her photos follow the same formula: She holds a food (or drink) in front of a gorgeous backdrop. The food is typically specific to the place she’s visiting, and her caption gives historical and cultural context. We have compiled a list of more than 75 best pics from her Instagram account and we can’t wait to see more from her.
