  1. I had just lost my housing situation in a small town in Texas, east of Dallas, and I went to the nearest Walmart, because my bank was located inside, and I needed to withdraw all funds and close my account. I did that, then headed back to my car. All my stuff was loaded into my car, as I was leaving Texas for good directly from there. I’d be driving overnight to a small town in Northern New Mexico, 10-12 hours away. As I pulled my car out of the Walmart parking lot, I noticed a handsome hitchhiker on my right side. He had a sign, a huge bag, and was memorable: looked my age (30-ish), tall, blonde, thin, piercing eyes. Grey or tan clothes, a dusty, sooty backpack. I wanted to help, but I didn’t have any money or help to offer, unfortunately. I was in a low situation myself. I felt bad for him, but I drove onto the highway and quickly forgot about it. Hours passed and my drive went well; I made really good time. I ended up pulling into my destination town right at sunrise. As I was driving through the small downtown area, I noticed a hitchhiker to my left and looked over. Lo and behold: it’s the same hitchhiker. There’s no mistake. Handsome, a huge bag, and was memorable: looked my age (30-ish), tall, blonde, thin, piercing eyes. Grey or tan clothes, a dusty, sooty backpack. I wanted to help, but I didn’t have any money or help to offer, unfortunately.
